Clear Bra

Is a top-tier protective film that provides a nearly invisible and durable shield for your vehicle's paint. Its primary purpose is to defend against rock chips, scratches, and minor vandalism, keeping your car looking new and preserving its resale value. Think of it as an essential armor that ensures your car stays immaculate, protecting it from the hazards of daily driving while maintaining its original beauty.

Both

You can have the benefits of both a clear bra and a ceramic coating. However, the Clear Bra MUST be installed before the ceramic coating.

Both forms of protection in the same service will result in a 20% discount compared to booking each option individually.

Ceramic

Is a cutting-edge product that offers long-lasting protection, incredible hydrophobic properties, intensified color, and an attractive glossy finish. It's a high-performance alternative to traditional waxes, providing your vehicle with the ultimate defense against the elements and ensuring it stays in showroom-worthy condition for years to come.

Ceramic Coating and Clear Bra are two different types of automotive protection solutions designed to preserve the exterior of a vehicle and maintain its appearance. Here are the main differences between the two:

Purpose:

  • Ceramic Coating, Also known as nano-ceramic coating or simply "ceramic," is a liquid polymer applied to the vehicle's paint surface. It chemically bonds with the factory paint, creating a protective layer that enhances the paint's hardness and hydrophobic properties. It offers protection against UV damage, oxidation, bird droppings, tree sap, and minor scratches, while also making the vehicle easier to clean and maintain.

  • Clear Bra, Also called Paint Protection Film (PPF), is a transparent, flexible, and self-healing film that is applied to vulnerable areas of the vehicle's exterior, such as the front bumper, hood, fenders, and side mirrors. Its primary purpose is to protect the paint from physical damage caused by rocks, road debris, bug splatters, and other abrasions that could result in unsightly chips and scratches on the paint.

Application:

  • Ceramic Coating: The application of process involves thorough surface preparation, including paint correction (removing swirl marks and imperfections) to ensure the best adhesion. It requires precise and careful application by a professional detailer, and the curing process may take a few hours or more depending on the product used.

  • Clear Bra: The application of clear bra involves cutting and fitting the film to the specific vehicle's shape and size. The process can be more time-consuming, and it is typically done by experienced installers who have the skills to ensure the film adheres smoothly and without bubbles or imperfections.

Coverage:

  • Ceramic Coating is applied to the entire exterior paint surface of the vehicle, forming a protective layer over the paint.

  • Clear Bra is selectively applied to specific areas that are prone to damage, such as the front bumper, hood, fenders, side mirrors, and sometimes the rocker panels and rear fenders.

Protection Level:

  • Ceramic Coating Provides protection against environmental contaminants, UV rays, oxidation, and minor scratches. It enhances the paint's gloss and hydrophobic properties, making it easier to clean.

  • Clear Bra Offers superior protection against physical impacts and abrasions, preventing rock chips, bug splatters, and scratches that might otherwise damage the paint.

Maintenance:

  • Ceramic Coating reduces the need for frequent washing and detailing due to its hydrophobic properties, making it easier to clean the vehicle. Regular maintenance is still necessary to keep the coating in top condition.

  • Clear Bra requires minimal maintenance beyond regular washing. The self-healing properties of some high-quality PPF products help to remove light scratches and swirl marks over time.

In summary, ceramic coating is a protective coating applied to the entire vehicle's paint surface, offering general protection against environmental factors, while clear bra is a targeted film installed on vulnerable areas to provide superior protection against physical damage caused by road debris and other hazards. Both products can be used together for maximum protection, with ceramic coating preserving the overall appearance of the paint and clear bra shielding high-risk areas from potential damage.
